





To take part in the white water rafting experience you must be able to swim 25 meters confidently and without aid, you must also be physically fit and a minimum age of 14, 12 at North Wales. People under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian consent. For older participants, for the white water rafting experience a certificate of fitness from your doctor must be supplied, before you can carry out the white water rafting experience.
White water rafting is another one of our experiences that is weather dependant, in periods of prolonged dry weather or low water conditions, it may mean that your white water rafting experience may need to be rescheduled, so it is always wise to confirm the day before your white water rafting experience that everything is order.
The white water rafting session consists of a brief induction on what to expect from your white water rafting experience and safety guidelines, then it is into the water so you can really experience white water rafting. This will include 2 runs down the river, which are approximately 20 minutes per run. White water rafting is an excellent gift for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, even Mothers/Fathers Day. If you were looking for something special to surprise your loved one, the white water rafting experience is definitely a good way to do that. Your friends and family are welcome to come along with you but there are restricted viewing areas at all sites due to the nature of this experience.
ALL participants must be aware that White Water Rafting carries a degree of risk. Even though the operator will minimise these risks, there is still a chance that participants may fall into cold, turbulent water that is fast flowing. Participants will only be accepted on the understanding that they are aware of these risks and wish to participate of their own free will. Participants will be required to sign an acknowledgment of risks. Maximum weight 16 stone. Over 14's only at Northampton and Perthshire, over 12's at North Wales. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult and must have a parental consent form signed by a parent or guardian. Prices are on a per person basis.
Available on selected days, mostly weekends. Please note that the Northamptonshire venue is open from March - October.
