Zap Cat Experience
Zap cats are lightweight, high speed, insanely agile, adrenaline pumping, performance powerboats. Great fun in calm waters and a huge grin factor in waves and in the air! Just under 50mph top speed, up to 3G in a turn, handle as if on rails, leap 6 foot into the air and you start to understand what these boats can do!!!
This is motorcross or rallying on water, the skill of the pilot, a couple of foot straps and ropes are all that is going to prevent you from going for a swim! But if you do, you will be wearing a helmet, lifejacket and top of the range dry suit and a safety boat will be there to rescue you. Suitable for guys and girls!
This is a truly adrenaline fuelled experience!
All of our gift experiences are presented in an attractive red case with "Congratulations - you are the lucky recipient of a Well Wicked experience day" written on the front. You will also get a DVD featuring many of our experiences. Experience vouchers can be personalised if required.
Duration
The whole zap cat experience will last approx 2 hours. Please allow approx 3 hours at the venue for this zap cat experience. The rest of the time is spent watching and enjoying other peoples experiences whilst speeding along on the powerful RIB, also not for the faint hearted and an experience all of its own!!
Locations
This fantastic experience is currently operated from Southampton, and Christchurch in Dorset.
Availability
Available weekends, bank holidays and selected weekdays. This can be as an individual teamed up with other members of a team or as a group day out. Different rates apply for larger groups (please see our Corporate section)
Restrictions
Non swimmers accepted but please make this known at the safety briefing. Not suitable for women that are pregnant or recently given birth. Not suitable for those with serious back problems, heart complaints, have suffered from a recent fracture, have recurring spinal injuries or frequent bouts of epilepsy. Upper weight limit of 20 stone and upper height limit of 6'4". Minimum age 16 years old. Under 18 year olds must have parental consent. No upper age limit if you think you're fit enough!
Dress Code
Hot days bring a spare pair of shorts and T-shirt. Cold days - warm layers needed! A drysuit, boots, gloves, lifejacket and helmet will be provided for all of our guests for the zap cat experience.
Spectators
This is not a spectator activity although guests may attend to see you off from the dock.
